Come and visit this 1901 "documented" haunted house which many teams will verify. We have paranormal groups scheduled regularly to investigate this old farm home. The groups have a great time connecting with our ghost friends/spirits and help us find out even more details about this farm house and land history! We are just minutes (a mile) form The Gaines House in Walton which we have found some interesting information from. Also only one mile from the "Snows Pond" war skirmish. “No Haunted House in 2017 due to lack of volunteers ”
We have been doing a Haunted House Fundraiser Event for many years to help get more low income schools out to the farm for our incredible agricultural education farm tour. We would like to thank all the volunteers in the past years for helping with this project. As of 2017 we will only be providing tours or having paranormal groups enter the house due to the incredibly hard task of finding enough volunteers to give up few weekends and prepare a great haunted house. Non profit groups are welcome to inquire about the possibility of doing a shared fundraiser to continue the Haunted House. Please email bentonfamilyfarm@aol.com 35 volunteers needed for a successful fundraising event! Also construction volunteers would be needed to prepare the entire house prior to the opening and practice weekends.
